Features

Benefits

Recommended for All automatic and CVT transmissions.

SHIFT RESTORE is a Group V Ester that quickly acts to solve issues with automatic transmissions, such as erratic and inconsistent shifting, hesitation and rough operation, excessive noise and overheating.

SHIFT RESTORE is engineered to safely dissolve the harmful gum and varnish that forms over time on the surface of precision transmission components. This CVT and automatic transmission fluid additive also lubricates and protects these key components for an extended transmission life. Use as a preventative maintenance product or to fix an existing problem.

Use approximately 1.5 OZ of SHIFT RESTORE per 1 QT of transmission fluid. This CVT and automatic transmission fluid additive may be added during a fresh fluid change or midway through current service interval. Use every fluid change for best results.
Note: Product displaces equal amount of fluid.

  • 1-2 ounces treats 1 quart of transmission fluid.
  • 3-4 ounces treats 2 quarts of transmission fluid.
  • 8 ounces treats 5 quarts of transmission fluid.
  • 16 ounces treats 10 quarts of transmission fluid.
  • 24 ounces treats 15 quarts of transmission fluid.
  • 32 ounces treats 20 quarts of transmission fluid.

Recommended Frequency:
Works best when added during a fresh fluid change; refer to the owner’s manual for recommended intervals.

The requirement for higher performance transmissions lubricants has increased considerably in recent years due to the introduction of new and sophisticated transmission systems. The transmission fluid serves as a hydraulic fluid, a heat transfer fluid and lubricating fluid. Over time, varnish and sticky residue (stiction) can form inhibiting the performance of the fluid. Our high performance ester formula is a unique lubricity and cleaning agent, that tenaciously attaches itself to all metal parts that it comes in contact with inside the transmission. The strong polarity pulls deposits off the metal surfaces and puts them back into solution. The metal in a transmission is nearly always positively charged while Shift Restore is negatively charged. Attachment of a thin layer of Shift Restore to all metals is natural and not dependent upon temperature, pressure or anything else. An added benefit is a reduction in temperature due to less friction on the critical moving parts.

    Absolutely made a difference

Many joked with me that I fell for a scam, but I immediately felt a difference with this product. My LML Allison 6 speed is stock and has only had the routine external filter change. Im approaching 100,000 miles soon. Shifts are definitely better and quieter after using shift restore. Temps are down a bit too. Highly recommend to anyone with an aging Allison. Very satisfied customer.
