  • 8 ounces of TSE treats 5 quarts of transmission fluid.
  • 16 ounces of TSE treats 10 quarts of transmission fluid.

Recommended Frequency:
Works best when added during a fresh fluid change; refer to the owner’s manual for recommended intervals.

The requirement for higher performance transmissions lubricants has increased considerably in recent years due to the introduction of new and sophisticated transmission systems. The transmission fluid serves as a hydraulic fluid, a heat transfer fluid and lubricating fluid. Over time, varnish and sticky residue (stiction) can form inhibiting the performance of the fluid. Our high performance ester formula is a unique lubricity and cleaning agent, that tenaciously attaches itself to all metal parts that it comes in contact with inside the transmission. The strong polarity pulls deposits off the metal surfaces and puts them back into solution. The metal in a transmission is nearly always positively charged while Transmission Stiction Eliminator is negatively charged. Attachment of a thin layer of Transmission Stiction Eliminator to all metals is natural and not dependent upon temperature, pressure or anything else. An added benefit is a reduction in temperature due to less friction on the critical moving parts.

I just bought a bottle of this stuff to put in my manual shift jetta, diesel truck and diesel tractors and pretty anxious to see what it can do as all other hot shots additives I’m sure it’s going to be great especially now in middle of winter in Wisc..

The product took little time before I felt smoother shifts. I have not towed yet, so I can’t speak on the cooler running temps under load. Overall, a great product and a positive experience.

I’ve run stiction eliminator in a 2012 6.7 Cummins 3500 fuel and oil for a couple of years now. The truck was bought new and daily driven so I didn’t see substantial results but the truck ran great anyway. I bought another ’12 6.7 Cummins 4500 with 150k miles and an auto transmission. I knew nothing of the history of the truck but I felt like the trans just “ran” through the gears, never spending much time in each gear. I deleted emissions and put a couple hundred miles with no change in shifting. I put in a bottle of the TSE and drove it down the road. NO JOKE in less than 1 mile it began running the gears to higher RPMs before shifting. I expected results but not in a couple thousand feet. Been running for about 300 miles now and will be flushing fluid and adding TSE again. This stuff works. It really, really works.

Have 2006 F-550 pull a 20K + toy hauler. Most the time it is moving has trailer behind it. First time I used it. Shifting seems better , didn’t have a real problem before. Just thought it was good insurance Use several of hotshot products like and trust them all

No real problem, but at 105k miles with towing and mixed use I wanted t change my transmission fluid. I did a simple drain, got 4.5 Q out of the 11 in there. I put the TSE in for all 11 Q and 4Q of new fluid. Yea it shifted a bit smoother and seems quieter, but what really amazed me was the change in coasting. I did not measure it before but now I can be at 50mph and let off the gas and coast a half a mile before hitting 20 mph. That is a huge difference, looking forward to better mileage.
