Signature Series – FUEL Pack

I was given a bottle of Diesel Extreme with my last order – I’d never used it before and didn’t figure I needed it having used EDT with every fill up since purchasing my 2016 Ram Ecodiesel. Since it was free, I certainly wasn’t going to let it go to waste and tossed it in with my next tank of fuel at about 67K miles… and was in for a surprise. After about 50 miles I became a bit concerned, as I noticed an the engine become uneven at idle as if an injector were starting to fail. Injectors are NOT cheap especially the piezo injectors used in my Ecodiesel, so I was starting to wonder what kind of damage this product could possibly have done and if HotShotSecret would stand behind their product and fix my truck… but from that point on the uneven idle started to smooth out and I saw a 1.3mpg increase in fuel economy just on that 1st tank. I’ve been working on engines since I could push a lawnmower (back when dinosaurs roamed the earth) and my best guess is that the idle issue was not caused by an in injector problem, but rather that some cylinders taking longer to clean up than others. The increase in economy leaves no other explanation than this product does exactly what it is supposed to… and remember I’ve been using EDT since day one, changing fuel filters regularly, and I live in an area not known for poor quality diesel fuel. My compliments to the chef who cooked up this magic witch’s brew!
