Hot Shot’s Secret BLUE DIAMOND SEVERE DUTY TRANSMISSION FLUID was formulated for severe-duty applications. The formulas are based on 100% poly-alpha-olefin (PAO) Group IV and high-quality Group V synthetic oils, infused with our FR3 Nano Technology, that protects against the major causes of transmission breakdown and helps extend transmission life.
This SAE 50 formula helps with temperature reduction inside the transmission. BLUE DIAMOND G56 will provide increased oxidation resistance, thermal stability, deposit and sludge prevention, reduced breakdown, longer drain intervals and higher wear resistance than competitors.

Any update on when there will be a synchromesh fluid available for the NV5600?

Changed out my synchromax for the blue diamond g56 and seems to shift smoother throughout and rollover noise was reduced.

Been running mtg for over the last 6/7yrs in my 13 6.7 with Valair DD clutch. No complaints to speak of except the loud rollover due to the DD and even TX cold weather would make it hard to shift after cold starts. Put 7qts of this blue diamond g56 oil in it and helped a lot with the cold start shifting and lowered the rollover sound as well. Still there but not near as loud. Very impressed so far, thankx Raney

Question
Kyle Kraft –
Can I put this in my transfer case as well or should I stick to the factory recommended ATF+4 for the transfer case?

We recommend using an ATF+4 fluid for your transfer case; our G56 gear oil is too thick. We currently do not offer an ATF+4 fluid but are working to formulate one.

Question
Joel N –
I just upgraded my clutch to a south bend duel disc..and changed fluid to the ams oil ATF…shifts great but as expected with the upgrade I have gear roll over noise. (A bit more then I would like) After searching the wonderful web and getting even more confused with all the “experts” out there. I found that you make a specific oil for the G 56. I find this to be great that a company is willing to put their name on something that is going against the RAM oem recommendation. This seems like it’s a fairy new product and not many reviews on it so I have a few questions I hope you can answer.
Will this help with the roll over noise that I currently have with using the ATF?
Do you recommend adding an extra quart to the transmission like so many of the “experts” say to do on the Internet?
I live in Pennsylvania and it can get pretty cold here. Will I experience harder shifts until oil gets to operating temp or Does it shift smooth from The beginning at colder temp?

One of our goals for the G56 Transmission Fluid was to reduce the rollover noise. Although not completely eliminated, it considerably helps the noise.
Shifting smoothness and gear engagement was another goal. While the G56 fluid is higher in viscosity than the OEM fluid, all of our testing has shown a better gear engagement and feel. Due to the increased viscosity over the OEM fluid, colder fluid temperature “may” cause a little bit more effort to get into gear for the first few minutes, but it should not be too much noticeable over the factory fill. The shifting feel at cold temperatures is slightly higher than the ATF+4, but far superior to an SAE 50 oil or even 75W-90 gear oil that some folks have used in their G56 transmissions.
The over fill is entirely your call. The G56 does help with the rollover noise at the factory fill level, but some have been adding the extra quart due to the overwhelming recommendations in the past from both aftermarket clutch and flywheel manufacturers and G56 owners.
