They are very similar products. We started with two base formulations, one for heavy-duty trucks and one for racing applications. The changes we made to each formula during testing brought them closer and closer to each other until the formulas were almost exactly the same. We have added a tackifier to the R series gear oils to prevent the oil from being slung off of the gears during the high g-force launches of the drag vehicles we were using in testing.
If you are using the gear oil for a “rock crawler, drag vehicle or road racing vehicle”, we would suggest the Adrenaline series. If using for an everyday vehicle, use the Blue Diamond.

Do you have any thing you can share your claim “zinc additive package extends the performance and anti-wear protection to levels unmatched by any other gear oil on the market” also are can am defenders recommend a 75w90 and 75w140 in there transmissions what would you recommend in this application

While we cannot provide information regarding the additive package we are using, we can state that our formula is not only comprised of Zinc and phosphorous but also contains antimony, which performs immensely better in anti wear and extreme load applications. Our product is one of very few on the market to contain antimony due to the emissions regulations that, do not apply to motorsports and off-road use. Our technical data sheet shows a 4-ball EP test with a significant load rating, which compared to competitors who provide this information, performs much greater.
