2004 chevy silverado. Unfortunately this product didn’t work for me I was really disappointed because I was expecting to see an improvement on the transmission sifting. I read all the good reviews I was excited because I’ve used this company products before and
they work. I read the instructions poured 8 oz into the transmission because it take 5 quarts of transmission . I waited about 60 miles didn’t see a change so I add 8oz again because technically you have transmission fluid in your torque inverter. I still had the strong first gear jerking but I did notice the all the other gear smoother. I think I’m going to get all the transmission fluid replace and add a full bottle. I mean it’s worth a try. Since I’ve purchased 2 bottles if it doesn’t work I have the clutch replace.

    Cheap transmission fix

My 2002 Ford F-350 had 225K miles when the transmission started slamming into 2nd gear. I figured I was looking at $1500 – $2000 in repair work. Then one day, I was in Tractor Supply and saw Transmission Stiction Eliminator on the shelf and figured at this point it couldn’t hurt. Within two days of putting in the transmission, ALL of problems have gone away! I have put another 15K miles on it, including a 5000 mile trip through the Rockies, and I haven’t had any more problems. That was the best $25 I ever spent.

The requirement for higher performance transmissions lubricants has increased considerably in recent years due to the introduction of new and sophisticated transmission systems. The transmission fluid serves as a hydraulic fluid, a heat transfer fluid and lubricating fluid. Over time, varnish and sticky residue (stiction) can form inhibiting the performance of the fluid. Our high performance ester formula is a unique lubricity and cleaning agent, that tenaciously attaches itself to all metal parts that it comes in contact with inside the transmission. The strong polarity pulls deposits off the metal surfaces and puts them back into solution. The metal in a transmission is nearly always positively charged while Transmission Stiction Eliminator is negatively charged. Attachment of a thin layer of Transmission Stiction Eliminator to all metals is natural and not dependent upon temperature, pressure or anything else. An added benefit is a reduction in temperature due to less friction on the critical moving parts.

Directions:

  • 1-2 ounces of TSE treats 1 quart of transmission fluid.
  • 3-4 ounces of TSE treats 2 quarts of transmission fluid.
  • 8 ounces of TSE treats 5 quarts of transmission fluid.
  • 16 ounces of TSE treats 10 quarts of transmission fluid.
  • 24 ounces of TSE treats 15 quarts of transmission fluid.
  • 32 ounces of TSE treats 20 quarts of transmission fluid.

Recommended Frequency:
Works best when added during a fresh fluid change; refer to the owner’s manual for recommended intervals.
