    I just got a 2001 F-250, I ordered Severe Duty GEAR OIL for both differintals and was wondering if there would be any benefit to using the Stiction eliminator in the differentials?

    Changed the factory fluid at 150,000mi to Hot Shot’s 85/140 Severe Duty Gear Oil. 3:73 Limiter Slip Sterling: did not need to use the factory additive for the limited slip. No chatter with Hot Shot’s gear lube. Looks like I picked up 1/10th of mpg.

    Put it in my Toyota 22RE rear diff and transfer case, it came right back to life! Noticed immediate low rolling resistance. Amazing stuff!

    Last time I changed my gear oil was about 15K miles ago. It’s on my 1995 Toyota Pickup 22re. Used regular SuperTech Walmart crap that smells like a dead elk that’s been rotting under a tree for about a month (you all know the smell). The rear diff. is one of those overlooked places where pretty much nobody changes oil normally. I never thought about it until my friend brought that up. Anyway. As soon as I swapped the old gunky, smelly sludge my truck started to roll freely again. I’m not kidding you, up until now this thing would slow down as if I left a parking break on. After the oil change this thing just rolls, and rolls, and rolls… you get the point. Swapped the oil in the front pumpkin and did the same on the transfer case. Feels like a brand new truck now!
