ISSUE
A rough idle or miss may occur on some vehicles. This may be due to a loose injector hold-down bolt.
ACTION
Whenever the valve cover is removed, increase the torque on all injector hold-down bolts to 13.6 N.m (120 in-lb). When installing an injector for any reason, tighten injector hold-down bolt to 13.6 N.m (120 in-lb). Refer to the 7.3L Diesel Service Manual Supplement for injector servicing.
