The Trackside Oil Refining Kit (T.O.R.K.) is designed to remove, filter and return used oil and other fluids from any high-performance vehicle between competition runs. T.O.R.K. is completely portable and fluid removal can be done almost anywhere. It extracts fluids from a race engine using compressed air and an on-board venturi vacuum process. The dirty fluid is then pumped through the attached Frantz Filter and filtered down to 2 microns. After being filtered, the clean fluid is returned directly to the vehicle through the return hose. High-horsepower, high-torque engines have such small tolerances and produce such force, metal and other wear particles are certain to be found in engine oil after a competition run. These particles can be harmful to an engine and cause premature failure of various components. The T.O.R.K. filters and removes this particulate matter down to 2 microns to keep the oil and fluids running clean. It also dramatically increases the life of the oil and allows race teams to be confident they are running clean oil 100% of the time. When using the T.O.R.K., it is no longer necessary to discard your engine oil after every pass. The T.O.R.K. provides the opportunity to continuously run high-quality race oil that provides the extra protection and performance gains needed while racing. Quickly and efficiently remove oil after a run and allow it to filter while preparing for the next round. The T.O.R.K. can drain 10 quarts of hot oil from an engine every 5 minutes. Returning oil can be filtered and returned directly to the engine or a container at a rate of 10 quarts every 45 minutes.
