    Hello. I’ve read through all the reviews above and all I can say is that the Stiction Eliminator is the real deal. I have a 2006 F350 that had just had the entire left bank of injectors replaced and turbo rebuilt (217,500 miles). It’s been two years since I purchased the F350 from Georgia shortly after it had been bullet-proofed by a reliable diesel shop. It had the works done (head bolts, gaskets, EGR delete, High pressure lines, oil cooler, etc). I was getting white smoke from my exhaust on start up and under initial acceleration. I was worried that I would need to go back to the shop and get the right bank of injectors replaced. I had seen the advertisements for Hot Shots Stiction Eliminator and figured it couldn’t hurt. Well, after the two quart exchange of oil for the product, I no longer have any smoke from my exhaust! I am relived beyond words and a lifelong supporter of all your products.     Attention duramax owners, stiction eliminator will not help you injectors as they do not use engine oil like the power strokes and cummins. They use diesel, that’s it. Stiction eliminator will help the other parts of the engine that have buildup of burnt oil residue. Try a fuel additive Ian’s see what that might do for ya. Stiction eliminator works wonders in the other manufacturers engines.

    I’ve got 06 f250 6.0 and bought it with 65k miles on it. Already had coolant filter on it but I knew about all the inherent problems with egr cooler and head studs however I was a user of all hot shot products and I’ve just passed 450k miles on it I have not changed any fuel injectors, transmission working properly rear end humming and turbo has never put code out since use of product I’ve ran 7.3 powerstroke and 5.9 Cummins and by far my 6.0 with hot shot products has been the best ln power. It’s been a great run and I’ll be using products every oil change and fuel fills. Thank you hot shot.

    Put this in my 01 lb7 and after about 4k miles the truck definitely runs better with no smoke at all saved me $$$$ on replacing injectors.

    It also di not help my 2003 chev db7 injectors. I now have a 2007 dodge 5.9 and it certianlyruns smoother & quieter.

    First off, let me say that I am new to the Ford 6.0 Powerstroke. I bought one used with about 250k on it to get into a diesel. I read volumes of information on the 6.0 Powerstroke and learned tons. When I got my truck, it had a real hard time on warm takeoffs. It turned out to be an issue with the EGR system (valve) and now that I’ve resolved that it runs great. During the process of troubleshooting my issues though, I read tons of folks endorsements of Stitction Eliminator. I figured it couldn’t hurt but admittedly suspected it to be just another “snake oil”.

    WOW, let me just say, that after about 2000 miles with this stuff, my truck seems to run better and better each day. I immediately noticed an improvement in cold starts and just in general how the truck sounded and runs. My temperature deltas also seem better and the oil doesn’t seem to get as hot the more I drive it with this stuff in it. I am sure it’s not for everyone but it has truly made a difference in my truck and I have nothing but good things to say. Thanks!!

    Wow! I must admit I am suprised. I have an 04 6.0. I started having performance issues near 100000 miles. Have spent thousands in repairs but truck still never ran as good as it did prior to the needed repairs. Never regained it’s fuel milage either. I’ve tried many additives. Both fuel and oil getting no results. Just wasted dollars on products claiming to help but didnt. This past weekend I did another regular oil change. I change it every 7500 miles. I seen your product while buying oil. I thought whatever. I’ll try it. But it’s probably another fifty bucks wasted like on all the others I’ve tried. I’ve driven approx. 150 miles since the oil change. My truck runs like it used to. Like it is supposed to. Like it hasn’t the last 70000 miles. I am very impressed with your product. Finally after buying many others I’ve found one that actually works as claimed. It runs smoother. Runs easier. Has more power and my fuel gauge isn’t sinking like a rock in water. Turbo lag? Virtually gone now. Thanks for a great additive that really works.

    I have been running Stiction in my 1999 Ford 250 Lariat 7.3 from about 75,00 miles now have 210,00 truck has all the original parts on the engine also same trans.

    Great stuff, 2003 Excursion, 190,000 miles, was running like crap, rough idiling, noisy engine, sluggish. Thought the engine was in need of major repairs. I change the oil every 2,500 miles, have since new, this time I put 32 oz of hotshot in within about 10 miles the motor runs smooth at all RPMS, the motor is very responsive and most of all sooo quiet! I used hotshot years ago and forgot I had a bottle on the shelf in the garage. I highly recomend the hotshot product!

    I have an 04 f350 6.0 powerstroke. I got a Stiction issue pop up recently. I have tried other products in the past when i would have Stiction with no change at all. I recently picked up hot shot secrets and added 2QT to my recent oil change an unfortunately again no change still have this issue. I cant say bad about hot shots but unfortunately it did nothing on my truck.

    i have read reviews on hot shots secret but have yet to hear if it is safe to add it to full synthetic oil.i change my oil every 10,000 miles ,if i add hot shots to my oil can i leave it in for the full 10,000 miles

      For Stiction Eliminator, synthetic oil is highly recommended. It is completely safe to leave in for the life of the oil, whether 5,000 or 15,000 miles!

    I have a 1979 chevy car hauler, power by 427 big block gasoline engine . I found the truck on Craigslist it was sitting under a tree for 2 years
    We got the truck started ran terrible the engine smoked and the lifters were rattling ran really bad drove it home almost overheated on the temp
    Gauge. So I put in new spark plugs cap wires rotor changed the oil and filter, AND added stiction. Adjusted the valves and now after driving
    2000 miles and counting the motor does not smoke at all no lifter noise temp Gauge is normal gas milage is excellent plenty of power also
    I ad it to all my cars. I have worked on cars for over 40 years and on a scale of 1-10 I give stiction A BIG 10 I tell all my gear head buddies

    I have a 2006 F350 6.0 and have gone thru it all, with 235,000 miles on it now, i lost 3 cylinders according to the computer reading and was freaking out that the repair was going to cost $2500 to $4500, after reading this web site i decided to try out the fuel and oil treatment, at $80 for both additives it was worth a try, I changed the oil and added the 2 qt of Hotshot and put the fuel additive in as well, I put a weight on the gas pedal to set at about 1400 rpms and let it run, after 6 hrs it was purring like a kitten, retested the injectors with the computer and all are firing correctly, I never write reviews but i had too on this one, I didn’t have the money to replace injectors. I am sold and will keep up with mantiance that Hotshot recommends. Thanks

    I have a 2004 Ford F250 with a 6.0 power stroke diesel. The truck has about 88,000 miles on it. I have been experiencing poor starts, poor acceleration, poor towing, and just a general lack of power and responsiveness in the truck for quite some time. I’ve had it in the dealership numerous times for repairs turbos and different things, and have lost one injector recently. I put in Hot Shot’s Secret about 3-4 weeks ago. I’ve driven about 500 miles since putting it in, and I have noticed a significance improvement in the overall power and response of the truck. It started easier, it’s quicker off the line, it tows better. It just runs smoother and better all around. It’s been a great improvement and the truck is running better now than it has in quite some time, even after the repairs that the dealership has been doing.

    wow I didn’t thin my 1999 7.3 with 186.000 had any stiction issues like some that I read about, but I noticed when I started it up to leave it ran sluggish until the oil was up to temp, I did the stiction eliminator and extreme diesel treatment and wow, withinin the first 30 miles I could feel the difference and noticed it was quieter, after 100 miles I purposely started it after sitting overnight and ran it before the oil got to temp and what a surprise. great products my wife rarely rides in my truck but we used it to pick up some things and she said your truck is quieter I said yeah it is ,she had no idea what I had done ,I thought it was just me………thanks great product will be ordering transmission treatment next

    Pirchase for my 2003 GMC Sierra 2500 Duramax diesel. 164,000 with a smoke issue. These diesels were know for a bad injector or 2.
    Called first and was told it would definitely reduce the smoke for the leaky injector and do many other things. Followed recommend instructions. New oil and Stiction. Ran till next oil change. No difference. Tried it again with new oil and Stiction and the fuel additive.
    Still nothing after 10,000 more miles. Actually I believe my truck is worse. I even video recorded it before and now and it is worse.
    I read the positive reviews and I am glad they worked for others but I would not recommend it to others.
    Btw, I rarely leave a bad review but….

      Hi Bob, below is the response from one of our diesel techs:
      The LB7 Duramax engine was notorious for its injector problems. We hear from at least 3 customers daily with this same issue. Diesel Extreme is the most helpful product for the issue, but can only clear it up maybe 50% of the time. Half of the time though, the injectors are just too far gone. The key to helping those injectors is prevention. We recommend upgrading the filtering in the fuel system, and running a lubricity additive with every tank. Something like our EDT.

    This stuff is amazing. My husband usually thinks my ideas are nuts, and maybe some are. I saw an ad for this striction eliminator for diesel engines and I thought, wouldn’t it be possible to use in the engine of my 2002 volvo? It’s not diesel, but wouldn’t it be great if it worked. My gas mileage had dropped to 17.1 mpg and it ran ok but not as peppy. I called the guy, expecting to get an automated response. The man answers his own phone!! I asked him about using the green stuff in my engine oil. He told me how much to add. He said it would work best if I added it to fresh oil. Being thrifty and worrying that if it was going to cause problems, I added Iit to the oil without changing it, just in case. The difference was immediate. My car was peppy. I know it is added to the oil but I have to tell you the whole system seems to be working better. The volvo is an XC90 AWD automatic with 168000 miles on it and it is running like a champ now. It seems to downshift easier, and it went from 17.1 mpg to 19.6 mpg within 1 week of adding the striction eliminator to my oil. My husband was so impressed that he took his denali in for an oil change and added it to his vehicle. His gas mileage has improved significantly too. He hauls a bass boat with his denali and said upon returning from a fishing tournament last week that the performance was significantly better and his mpg had improved too. I got an oil change yesterday and added the miracle juice to my nice clean oil. I will keep you informed on any changes. I am so excited about this stuff. I have been trying to find the transmission striction eliminator, but can’t find any around my area so I will order it on line. I don’t have stock in the company nor am I receiving anything for this review. I am on a limited budget and i would not usually spend “a little more” for something to add to the oil or gas or any auto fluids but I took a chance and it is worth every penny I spent. If I could give it 10 stars I would. I have been running around with my bottle of magical green juice adding it to family and friends cars and they are amazed. They think I’m a little nuts- but they are amazed.

    I drive a 2004 F350, 6 liter diesel. Current mileage is 135,000. I’ve driven the truck about 8,000 miles since I’ve added Hot Shot’s Secret. I was having hard starts when it was cold, acceleration lag, turbo lagged, and I was faced with a $1,500 option from the dealer to change 2 injectors that were sticking. I opted for a try of the Hot Shot’s Secret with an oil change. I would say within the first 200 miles I started to notice a difference. Easier starting, better throttle response. I have since changed out the oil that was in the Hot Shot’s Secret. The problems have stayed away. I do intend on using the product from time to time. It’s only been about 6-8,000 miles.     I drive a 2001 7.3 power stroke diesel. The pick up when I got it had 259,000 miles on it. It had poor maintenance habits done. After changing the oil and running a good flush through it, I purchased Hot Shot’s Secret, drained the oil again, and put fresh oil in, plus the 64 ounces of the Hot Shot’s Secret. Right away I noticed a quicker start up and smoother idle. Directly after the first 120 miles or so, it even got smoother, the idle got quieter, and the pick up seemed to have a lot better throttle response. I left it in for about 4,000 miles, drained it, then I put in new fresh oil and it seems like that the truck idles smoothers and runs better due to the Hot Shot’s Secret. It’s a great product. I recommend it to all my friends. I plan on ordering more in the near future. Thank you very much.

To increase the efficiency in modern diesel engines, manufacturers have increased the pressure at the tip of the injector. This increase provides for a better, more efficient burn with added power. Older injectors would put out 1,200 psi at the injector tip but the new diesel engines put out 26,200 psi at the tip. To achieve this increase in pressure, the manufacturers had to tighten the tolerance inside the injector. This increased the friction and temperature. The higher temperatures have a burning effect on the engine oil. A layer of oxidized oil and additives form, slowing down the injector and eventually stopping it altogether.

Originally created for International Truck and Engine, Hot Shot’s Secret is a formula made from a combination of detergents and dispersants, which can be added into new or used motor oil. Hot Shot’s Secret then works to remove build-up caused by the coking and varnishing left behind from overheating the engine’s oil.
