Recommended Frequency:
Works best when added during a fresh fluid change; refer to the owner’s manual for recommended intervals.

The requirement for higher performance transmissions lubricants has increased considerably in recent years due to the introduction of new and sophisticated transmission systems. The transmission fluid serves as a hydraulic fluid, a heat transfer fluid and lubricating fluid. Over time, varnish and sticky residue (stiction) can form inhibiting the performance of the fluid. Our high performance ester formula is a unique lubricity and cleaning agent, that tenaciously attaches itself to all metal parts that it comes in contact with inside the transmission. The strong polarity pulls deposits off the metal surfaces and puts them back into solution. The metal in a transmission is nearly always positively charged while Transmission Stiction Eliminator is negatively charged. Attachment of a thin layer of Transmission Stiction Eliminator to all metals is natural and not dependent upon temperature, pressure or anything else. An added benefit is a reduction in temperature due to less friction on the critical moving parts.

I changed my transmission fluid in my 2008 Gmc 2500hd Duramax and added the recommended amount of TSE and wow. It took my truck about 50 miles or so before I really started noticing that the truck shifts much smoother and the temperature for my transmission is running cooler as well. Great product guys! Can_

5 out of 5 So far - so good!

My mechanic drained the transmission and then put Hot Shot in along with the required additional transmission fluid. The transmission seems “tighter” now and is not slipping. That’s a good sign since my Nissan Maxima transmission begins failing when the joints are old and get hot causing them to slip. I have my “fingers crossed” that this will do the trick and extend the life of my transmission. I have about 45 thousand miles on this transmission. I should get at least 100 or so before I need replacing.
