LX4 Lubricity Extreme is most effective when used with every fill up and is 100% compatible with other Hot Shot’s Secret fuel additives, including DIESEL EXTREME, EVERYDAY DIESEL TREATMENT and GASOLINE EXTREME. Follow recommended treat rates.

*Store above 32° F. If frozen, thaw, mix thoroughly, and use as directed. Although LX4 diesel lubricity additive does freeze at high temperatures, when mixed with diesel fuel, it does not affect the pour point, cold filter plugging point, or cloud point of the fuel.
 
TREAT RATIO
For pump diesel, treat rate is 1 ounce per 10 gallons to meet and exceed the EMA recommended 460 micron wear scar.

(For VP Racing Torq DX, treat rate is 1 ounce per 2 gallons to achieve a 461.5 micron wear scar.)

    I’m using EDT and Stiction Eliminator now. Do I need to use LX4? Does LX4 replace EDT? Do I use EDT and LX4 together? Can they be mixed?

      Hi Chris! EDT does include LX4 … but for extra lubricity you can add the recommended amount of LX4 in addition to EDT. Hope that helps!

    When I first bought my truck (when it was new) I ran Howe’s. On my second set of injectors, I ran Stanedyne. On my third and fourth set of injectors, I ran OptiLube XPD. After reading the test results of the independent test lab and seeing how the scar wear mark was significantly smaller using LX4 vs. OptiLube XL, I became an instant customer. I bought a gallon of LX4 to start running immediately with the rest of my past diesel additive, with plans of buying EDT when it ran out. Now that EDT has the LX4 formula in it, I will be running EDT plus a little shot of LX4 in it until they come out with a new product. Yes, I have an AD4G165 on my truck as well as Cat adapter and filter that have been on for 3 sets of injectors. Yes, all my injectors have been genuine Bosch remans until the last set of SAC’s. I am an OCD HD diesel tech, this is what I do for a living, rest assured every time I replaced my injectors it was professional quality. I just wanted to give a back story for someone reading this that might be wondering why my truck has had so many sets of injectors and thinking it was me, no sir, I’ve just come to accept the fact that my truck eats injectors and that’s how it is. So, if HotShot’s products can prolong the inevitable, that’s what I’ll use. I have called HotShots twice on the phone just to BS with someone and get some info, both times I was answered by a real human that was more than willing to BS with me and give all info I wanted. That alone made me a customer for life. Side note, I started with a dose of Diesel Extreme before I started running the LX4 and it brought my balance rates down from +- .5 to around +-.3 to 0. I’ll keep an updated long term review of the LX4 and EDT. Hope this helps. Take care folks.
