Gray Diamond European Spec is fully formulated SN motor oil with an emissions safe detergent package with exceptional oxidation and thermal stability. Gray Diamond European Spec excels in preventing deposits and oil breakdown and making longer European spec drain intervals possible. Motor oil is a complicated, yet balanced mixture of viscosity improvers, friction modifiers, anti-wear additives, extreme pressure additives, oxidation inhibitors, pour point depressants and base oil. This reduction in friction allows for a fuel mileage increase of 3%, on average. High temperatures inside the engine can cause oxidation, alter the oil’s viscosity and create low temperature flow issues which ultimately leads to quicker wear rates. Sludge, stiction and varnish caused by oxidation can clog oil screens, oil pumps and oil galleys. Soot can also cause your oil’s viscosity to become out of specification by thickening the oil. Soot is also an abrasive material that can lead to excessive wear on the engine’s moving parts as well as lowering fuel efficiency.       We have had customers use our oil for their EcoDiesels and have no issues, but we cannot officially recommend our fluid for your vehicle due to not meeting the very niche specification.

      No unfortunately. The manual calls for 0w20 or 5w20 for the 4.6 and 5.7 Tundra.
