My 7.3 is my pride and joy, but when it would set for 24hrs or longer you would dang near kill the batteries trying to get it to run and it would shake and rattle for about 15 minutes before you could move. I put the oil treatment in and doubled the fuel dose on the first treatment and I could tell the difference in the way it was running. On the second tank of fuel I put the recommended amount in the fuel and she was running 200% better, heck I picked up 2 miles/gal. So just the other day was the real test, my truck had sat for 4 days, when I went to fire it up I was convinced that I had made a good purchase, she fired right up and was running smooth as the day I bought her new. February 2019 bought a 1997 f250 4×4 with a 7.3 powerstroke in it out in Arizona. Flew out and drove it back to Ohio, only had about 170,000 miles on it. Started hard. I have a 2014 f250 powerstroke, everytime I change the oil it makes this ticking noise until the oil gets dirty,used the stiction eliminator, after first use ticking reduced and and went away much quicker.
